Ardingly College International Schools to Open in Kazakhstan

Ardingly College, a leading British independent school, is delighted to announce a new partnership with Primus Capital to found two new international schools in Kazakhstan; the first of which is planned to open in Astana in September 2024, followed by a sister school in Almaty to open in September 2025. The partnership also includes the potential to open three further regional schools in Kazakhstan.

Ben Figgis, Head of Ardingly College, said “We were delighted to welcome the team from Primus Capital to our beautiful campus in Sussex recently and are very excited about the potential of this new partnership to extend our World ReadyTM mission to students in Kazakhstan.  Since we introduced the option to take the International Baccalaureate over 20 years ago, we have sought to ensure that our students develop a truly global perspective; launching Ardingly College in Kazakhstan feels like a natural next step to expand our family of international schools into this important geography.”

Asel Sugurbayeva, General Director of Primus Education, noted “We are thrilled to embark on this transformative journey alongside Ardingly College, bringing the esteemed tradition of British education to Kazakhstan. The establishment of a network of Ardingly College International Schools in Kazakhstan represents a significant milestone in our commitment to enhancing access to world-class education. We believe that by fostering a collaborative environment and embracing the flagship British education model, these schools will have a lasting impact on the educational landscape and empower the next generation with the knowledge and skills needed for a successful future.”
