Coventry University Group exploring potential to open a branded campus in Kazakhstan
Coventry University Group is exploring the possibility of expanding its global operations by collaborating with a subsidiary of Primus Education to open an international campus in Kazakhstan.
The proposed branded campus in the Kazakhstan capital, Astana, would offer a suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes to be introduced in phases over the coming years.
Coventry University Group and Primus Education will also discuss a collaboration for teacher training and education programmes to be delivered at the campus, utilising the expertise of the Group’s National Institute for Teaching and Education.
These programmes include the International Postgraduate Certificate in Education with International Qualified Teacher Status (iPGCE with iQTS), aimed at contributing to capacity building and enhancing professional development for school teachers in Kazakhstan.

Mr Darren Jones has been appointed as the Founding Headmaster of Ardingly Astana, the first branch of the prestigious British independent school Ardingly College in Kazakhstan. The school will open in Astana in September 2024, offering a British education for children aged 5 to 10 in its inaugural year, with plans to expand into Secondary school grades in subsequent years.
